1.I have been reading since I was a little girl thanks to my dad. When I was little he read the tales of Romulus and Remus to me and also Shakespeare 's Macbeth as my bedtime stories..strange yes I know..
2. I worked 5 years as a cataloger for a branch of Libraries. This is how I found the book Twilight, it kept coming across my desk and I finally picked it up and read it. I have been a fan of YA ever since. I loved my job, it had perks, can we say free ARC's twice a month, but I missed what I really love in life and that is playing in makeup and putting it on people, so I quit my job in an office and went back into the field. I do miss my free books but I am much happier covered in eyeliner and glitter!
3. And speaking of makeup..I have a collection of over 35 lip glosses...all pink. I love pink lip gloss, the stickier the better. And even tho most people can not tell all the pinks ARE different!
4. I live with my iPod in my ear..well I sleep with it in my ear...I cannot sleep without the music going on and if by some chance it falls out during the night it instantly wakes me up and I have to put it back in to go to sleep again.
5.I love bracelets..( see above picture) My friends says I am like a cat and jingle everywhere I go.Its true..I pile them on like crazy. One wrist is full of bangles that have been given to me as gifts. The other wrist houses those goofy little friendship bracelets made of string that my friends have made me. I love them! My friends also says I am like a crow, I am attracted to anything glittery and shiny, which must explain my abnormal obsession with Edward Cullen!
7.Speaking of this man...I got my very first tattoo this year. I went to Dallas Texas to see the Arctic Monkeys in concert and met Alex after the show, he signed my wrist and I couldn't part with the signature. I had it tattooed . YEP..I know..drunken 13 year old fan girl moment. But it was worth it!
8.My favorite past-time? Well besides reading...would have to be going to concerts. I love live music, I don't care who I am even seeing, as long as its live. OK well that isn't always true, I would much rather see someone I like and listen to, but on occasion I have been dragged to coffeehouses to see some random guy with a guitar cause one of the posse liked the looks of said guy with guitar and I ended up enjoying it. Mostly because I was with my friends...
9.I'm a twitter-holic..seriously. I cant stay off of twitter..I am constantly checking my phone. Even sneaking to my locker at work to check it when I should be out on the floor!
10. I am also a book blogger on the awesome site of Booknerds Across America. It was actually Flo, Jacque and Mary who brought me in to the world of book blogging..Yep..I found all of them on Twitter!
Thats me! Lizz. I'm 23 and very sarcastic. I spend most of my time playing the Sims, reading, cooking, reblogging inappropriate things on Tumblr, Reddit browsing, yelling at my cat, or chasing after my 4 year old daughter. I guess I should do what my mother has done & list 10 facts because I'm absolute crap at trying to write about me's. I don't even believe I have 10 facts though..but I will try.1. I absolutely adore music. I'm not quite as hip with music as my mother but I do take after her when it comes down to everything we do..it has music involved in some way. I sometimes like to dabble in making my own music with certain friend's help but I'm really not all that talented. I do however am on this new kick of making mashups of songs with Audacity.
2. I am a nerd. Seriously. I love all things nerdy. I play video games, MTG, & if I could larp..I totally would. I'm really into anime and manga.
3. I'm obsessed with South Korea. Its sad really. I guess not exactly the place..more of the men that live in South Korea. I love Korean dramas, Korean pop music, and Korean fashion. My daughter even likes to sing in Korean. LOL. She will hate me one day when she realizes how lame I have made her. LOL.
4. I love to cook and bake. I used to want to open my own cupcake bakery but honestly after so many cupcakes made..I hate them. I don't even like eating them anymore. I do want to go to culinary school though or at least pick up some cooking classes because I do love cooking. I really want to learn knife skills and plating. My dream is to go on Next Food Network Star or Top Chef.
5. I love holidays. Like a ton. I think about Holidays constantly. I start planning for them months in advance. This is my first year to have a house of my own so I plan to really start stocking up on Christmas decor. My husband thinks I'm insane but I can't help it. I love everything about holidays..especially the cooking. I'm already planning on our custom stockings this year for Christmas. =]
6. My sense of humor..is off. I tend to be inappropriate and very sarcastic. Many things I find funny are actually really stupid. I feel like I got a lot of this from my brother.
7. I love the rain and cold weather. I'm fat..and pale. I don't like the sun. I wish it would go away. I like cold, rainy, dreary days. They are perfect for movies and reading.
