Its still May so we are still doing the Shuffle on our iPods, but I am going to be honest with you, I hit my iPod shuffle 5 times this morning so I could play along and 3 of the 5 songs that came up were Arctic Monkey songs. I really didnt want to hear the groans of my fellow bloggers saying.." OMG she is playing the Arctic Monkeys AGAIN.." So I am being nice and being random in a different way!
We all know that Manchester provides us with some great football, they have the #1 and #2 Teams in the EPL ( tho, if I had MY way, #2 would be number #1). You all know I am a big Manchester United fan..( That's me supporting my team )
But maybe you didn't know that Manchester has always supplied us with some great music from some great bands. I'm talking the Buzzcocks, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Joy Division and Oasis. Recently I found another band from Manchester that are making a name for themselves on the Internet ...The Mutineers. Let me tell you, these guys are fantastic. Their debut album Friends, Lovers, Rivals has heavy rotation on my iPod right now, and I also keep the CD in my car to listen to while I drive to work. So check out these songs from their album, I know you will love them as much as I do and go check them out on Twitter and on Facebook I promise you ..you wont be disappointed...
